Who doesn’t love a little cheeky shop, Torquay has a heap of surf outlets along the Geelong Road / Surf Coast Hwy which depending on the time of year have some great sales on to grab a bargain!

6. Visit the Apostles

Better known as the Twelve Apostles, although we do lose a few to erosion over the years so I shall refer to them as the Apostles.
The most known tourist attraction in the area and a must-see! They are both intriguing and beautiful on a warm sunny day!

How to get there?
The easiest option is with your own car/car hire.
Alternatively, you could book a day tour from Melbourne with AAT kings.

Tip: Try and go in the morning if you are driving to avoid the crowds once the tour buses arrive.

Highly Recommend: Visit the Gibson Steps while you’re in the area and get a view of the Apostles from the beach level!

7. Walk around Griffiths Island

One of my favourite little walks along the coast, although it is technically past the Great Ocean Road in Port Fairy, I always seem to include Port Fairy in my road trips along here and never miss a visit to Griffiths Island. Filled with scenic views, a lighthouse and whaling history.
